2013 Youth T-Shirt Design Contest
The 2013 N.E.S.T. T-Shirt design contest was a huge success. We received over 70 drawings from school-aged kids ranging from 1st -12th grades. The top 3 things they were encouraged to communicate through the design were: “we love sea turtles”, “keep beaches clean”, and “protect the environment”.
N.E.S.T. is happy to announce that the winner of the 2013 Youth T-Shirt Design Contest is Sabrina Ramirez who is a 12th grader at First Flight High School. Sabrina received a $100 gift certificate at the North Carolina Aquarium. 2nd place went to Rachel Bell from First Flight High School and 3rd place went to Taina Santana at First Flight Middle School.
