Sunday just after Nest #22 was discovered in Nags Head and after a false crawl was found on the very northern end of Duck, our Corolla driver called in with a crawl in Pine Island. The team excavated the site but was not able to find eggs. We’re betting it was a sneaky mom and marked off the site to monitor anyway! So, this is our first “potential nest” of the season.
