Outer Banks, NC – Network for Endangered Sea Turtles (N.E.S.T.) is celebrating 25 years of sea turtle protection and education on the Outer Bank with a fundraiser. Originally scheduled for March, the annual auction portion has been moved online just in time for holiday shopping. A variety of items, from restaurant gift certificates to unique art pieces, will be up for auction from Saturday, December 5 to Saturday, December 12. N.E.S.T. is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and conservation of sea turtles and other protected marine wildlife on the Outer Banks of North Carolina from the Virginia line to south Nags Head. N.E.S.T. is committed to contributing to the preservation of these species through research and rescue and rehabilitation efforts and to fostering greater understanding and appreciation of these species and their habitat through education and enhanced public awareness.
