Around 11PM the night of June 26th, a report came in about a loggerhead looping around the beach up in Currituck National Wildlife Refuge area of the 4WD beach. NESTers arrived to find her returning to the ocean. They staked off the site until the morning until we could confirm if there was an actual nest site. Thanks to their quick action, the crawl was well preserved and the team was able to determine that she just looped around and left. Perhaps she’ll have better luck tonight!
