29 Sir Snipps sir snipps

Sir Snipps arrived at the STAR Center cold stunned, under weight and covered with barnacles. When a sea turtle has a plethora of these hitchhikers, it can be an indication that the animal is sick.  A healthy turtle will scratch or rub against rocks and other surfaces to remove them, while a sick turtle may be unable to do so.  Sir Snipps is now barnacle-free thanks to some help from the STAR Center staff.
