The 4.1 lb. Kemp’s ridley that died 11/5/11 in rehab had a necropsy performed 11/18/11 by Aquarist Christian Legner. There were some anomalies in the intestinal tract, areas where the tissue seemed “stretched.” There was also a parasite (only 1) found on the liver which has not yet been identified. The right lung had a large tear and blood clot, and there was some blood in the body cavity. It was determined that Brady was a female!  Besides these notes, there were no out-of-the-ordinary findings.
